Thanks alot for the new release! but there’s a small problem with the latest versions.
I’m using TL as a for downloading torrents but i my torrents still get reported to the snatchlist even if i have set all the no report options + no report completed download.
The report on the snatchlist shows as ” Torrentname 6.6 GB 0 Bytes 0 Bytes inf. 1 0 No”
Any ideas on what i can do so i can’t get shown on the snatchlist?
It probably adds u to the snatchlist when you download the .torrent file from the site. But they wont know that you have downloaded any data, or even that you opened the .torrent file with your torrent client. It will look suspicious if u keep downloading torrent files without any data being reported though.

Thanks for the reply! Prior to uSerenity i was using vuze xtreme mode and there was an option maintaining the dl/up ratio to a fixed ammount, let’s say 1.0. Is there any way i can achieve that in uSerenity ?

I have found that when i add a torrent from a website it says open torrent but the torrent window that should open does not appear where i can select the files i actually want before its added to the que.
Can you please look into this asap as at the moment i have to download the torrent link and then add it manually otherwise it wont add the torrent into the que list at all it just seems to dissapear and its quite annoying..

is it so with original unmodded uTorrent 2.2 also? cuz i tested it with original and got the same problem

Tested the issue out on the original install version from utorrent web site and the problem is not there it has to be something oyu have done in your version… because the oiption works on the original version? any update from you would be nice.

fake ratio says ive uploaded 4gig but only 2gig reports on tracker. tested a few times too. always half or less then what it says has been uploaded
okay i now uploaded 6gig according to serenity but only 2gig is being recorder. seems its not recording info after 2gig on the tracker for some reason

my question would be whether to use a private tracker so that userenity állapoot normal setup but also active dht patch is turned on.
Private tracker should I normal mode is enabled dht-Patca your clients? I mean to spend so up and down constantly. This can be filtered out to the private tracker? I get it because of ban? Do you think?
Normal mode setting is userenity + dht patch downloads and so can I use?

A tracker does not look too safe where the money, only the data traffic?
It would be nice if you can not just be the default Normal mode and serenity.

a number of ways you can build? Or to put pictures of different settings, mod. But rather more pre-built mod would think it is more appropriate, and each mode would be a short description or readme.

In my opinion Settings are fine. I think that serenity is working look at upload amount. Upload starts automatically when you start torrent.
I recently updated the PC and now I am using Windows 7 64-bit Home edition. Before I had Windows XP (it worked well).
Right now on my Windows 7, when I run uSerenity it says in a log:
[2010-11-30 19:44:13] Error opening Windows firewall: 0×80070005 Access is denied.
However, I have GREEN check mark on the right side of the uSerenity, and it says:
Network OK
Your network connection is working as it should.
is it ok if I still have that error about access is denied?
and, who knows how to open ports in a Windows 7 firewall?

hello, have you tried if normal uTorrent works fine? if it does, you can write to uTorrent support forum.
yeap, I installed official utorrent and it doesn’t have this error.
It seems it’s working fine, when I right click and Run as Administrator.

Still crashing sometimes somewhere in the strncpy_s function when copying very long tracker url’s. It seems that destination buffer is only 256 bytes long, but source string is longer.
yes for tracker address – 256 bytes, (excluding information sent to it like hash peer_id etc)
what tracker would have address longer than 256 letters lol?

that’s some shitty tracker which added retracker this way :)
limit is 512 in original uTorrent for announce string, anyway will fix in next release

However, can you make a DHT patch that works for already added torrents?
With a previous version of Serenity Mod, I removed and re-added all my private, DHT & PEX-disabled torrents, one by one, to make them enabled.
However, now that I updated to the latest uTorrent, then downloaded the latest uSerenity, all the originally private torrents got disabled DHT & PEX again.

Probably I am not in a right place to ask this, but I have a problem with the utorrent speed…
I have Windows 7 x64, I am downloading for a full speed, however every day I noticed that my internet speed drops to 70Kb/sec from 4:30pm-2:00am, after 2 am the internet speed goes back in a normal stage… I checked it on XP the same torrent, same tracker, I have a full speed, while in Windows 7 I have only 1/4 of the real speed….
It seems like some schedule is running at 4:30pm to 2 am…
Did anyone faced with it?
